train video games!

Do any of you know of any American GAMES(OR simulators)for PS2/gameboy that let you drive trains? I'd like to know of one for PS2. THANKS

As far as I know nobody has made any sort of simulator with strictly trains in them. There are a few games which have trains in them but none with just trains.
Consoles are the one system that will probably never have train sim games.

I vaguely remember hearing about a Japanese rail simulator but it was for the PSP and was VERY limited.

a few games (and I don't remember specific games) have trains in them. However, they are only a very small part of the game.

As for the PSP game http://psp.ign.com/objects/704/704783.html that's about it. It's a fairly basic game as it goes.
