Help Changing Loose Consists

I need to change some loose consists. I have tried in ConBuilder, but I can't figure out how to remove some cars (so they are not too long). Also, when I exit after changing some, and then reenter, some of the changes are changed back.
This is driving me crazy!
Any help with this is appreciated.

Okay, I got help over on the train-sim forums. The answer was using route riter to get to the loose consists.
Everyone who has MSTS should also get at least 3 other downloads so you can use just about anything out there:
1) Conbuilder - can be found on several sites - real easy to build your own consists and edit others
2) Route Riter - I ended up getting mine from the trainsim UK website, but it is available all over too. Nice tools to edit consists, and a excellent for finding problem consists and activities and fixing them. Has lots of other tools too.
3) The TSun update. This fixes a bug in the unpacker and lets you get to activities which would not unpack correctly.
Any others you want to add?

Another good update to download is the MSTS bin from
