Auran, the company that makes the train simulation called Trainz apparently does not care about their customers very much. I purchased Trainz 2010 Engineers Edition from them over 2 months ago. It has since been payed for on my charge card for over 6 weeks. Auran aknowledged the purchase the day after but has not shipped the product. I have been in their forum and submitted 2 support tickets which they won't even answer. Not even a responce saying they are running behind and it will be X-number of weeks. The closest I have gotten to talking to them is to other customers on the Trainz forum. If you purchase anything from them, beware.
It's possible that it hasn't been released in the US yet. This link shows June release date. The product was probably released first in the company's home country. This isn't totally unusual. Follow up releases are usually within a month or so but maybe they didn't have all the railroads complete for the US.

You do know they're in Australia, right? Things take longer to get from there to here.
I've been buying their Trainz products for years without any problems except slow shipping.

tbdannyIf it's anything like shipping from the US to down here in Oz, it'll take at least 3 weeks to a month. But if they're going to be releasing it in the US, why would they sell you a copy out of Australia?
Yup, that sounds about right.
I don't know why they sent it from Australia, other than that's where they're based-- probably do have other sources here in the U.S., but I always buy from them direct when they send over one of their "you- can- buy- everything- we- ever- made-, ever- *thought*- of- making-, plus- all- the- stuff- from- the- guy- next- door- too- all- for- $10- bucks- or- heck- we'll- even- pay- you- if- you'll- just- buy- something- so- we- can- tell- our- mums" newsletters they send out from time-to-time.
I bought my copy of Trainz 2009 from walthers and I live in south australia-only took 2 weeks
