The Polar Express

  • With the new movie, The Polar Express, I would think that it would encourage children to like trains, or begin wanting a model railroad. Take your kids to see it![;)] Does anyone else feel the same way?

  • The Polar Express gets an A+ for encouraging kids to like trains. Riding a real train wouldn't hurt either.
  • The Polar Express is a blast to watch,especially in 3D [:)]!
See this, even if you don't have kids.
Ride Amtrak. Cats Rule, Dogs Drool.

  • Wonder how close Rivarossi's Pere Marquette Berkshire is to the 2-8-4 Berkshire used in the movie Polar Express, and which are the correct passenger car's to use. I havn't had a chance to see it yet.
  • [8D] The name tie ins with movies or cartoons will be the key to keeping the hobby alive. It will get a whole new generation hooked and excited.

I would love to see the whole Thomas line available, he is an incredible start for the young crowd. He also will get some of the dollars away from Playstation, Xbox, Gamecube and into true family fun.
