If anyone is intersested, I'm doing a genealogical history on my familty in Kane co. I've come across many articles in the Beacon-News relating to pre CB&Q and even daily reports as to indivisual reports on the Q shops and employees ( vacations, injuries, who was operating what, who got advanced) and even what locomotives they built or rebuilt, even just were working on, if anyone is interested while i'm doing this, i'll look up any articles of interest for nothing. It won't be tomorrow or the next day, but I do make regular trips back home( about once a month) to look stuff up. I've come across schedules, as well as articles on CNW, CGW, the original CB&Q, CB&Q, original rail to Dekalb before MLWK (now THAT'S interesting, a real shister rail there.) as pertinaint Aurora. Anyone really interested can find my address. This is NOT an adversitment, just helping anyone intersted in Aurora railroads.
