Heard a month ago [3-18-07] that Texas was going to close down the Texas State Railroad, State Senate in Austin feels it is too costly to run a Tourist Railroad. That will leave quite alot of Historical Freight and Passenger equipment up for grabs, In cluding a FM Train Master, 2 ALCO RS 5's, 2 Lima - Texas Locomotives, and the Last Operating PERSHING, the 300!
