  • According to the Trains magazine index,Railroad Model Craftsman had an article on building a car in the April 2002 issue. It also lists drawings in the March 1986 issue of RMC.I should have both copies if you would like photocopies, let me know and we'll figure out a delivery method,(I don't have a scanner).Back issues may still be available from Carsten's Publications.I hoped this helps, good luck and good modeling.
  • Yes...I would appreciate copies of the articles. I'll also try Carstens web site. I had the mags going back to Vol 1, No. 1, but alas "cleaned house" about three years back. Mailing info, if you are able to make copies, is: Mark Brinthaupt, 20 Cayuga Drive, Horseheads, New York 14845-1078. Any assistance will be appreciated.....Mark
  • Mark,I'll try to get those copies out as soon as possible,Dan.
  • Dan...Thanks for the material...it arrived today. Looks like a Winter project (or 2)...will send pix when completed....Regards..Mark

You really should be careful about listing your address like that. Nuts like me might send you some mail. lol Of course it will be train related. When you get it of course it will have my return address. Talk to you later, [;)]
  • Mark,I'm looking forward to those pictures.I'm glad to have been able to help, good luck and good modeling. Dan.
  • BTW these cars are available in HO scale form Funaro and Camerlengo or at least they were. I have one. Although I started on it, I had the person who did my custom painting at the time finish it. Came out real nice.
