Anyone ever work for or Interview for Conrail?

  • Hi everyone. This is my forst post in this forum. I filled out an application for a Trackman position with Conrail about 2 months ago on the internet. As I was looking up some info on the Trackman position and Conrail...I came across this forum. Well...after I filled out the application, I received a letter in the mail to go to a testing session in Newark NJ. About a week after the test, they sent me another letter for an interview in Mt Laurel NJ. That interview was friday. It was a basic interview. Two Conrail employees asked me a bunch of situational questions. Like "what would I do in certain situations" type questions. Asked my about my past jobs and things of that nature. She told me that the next step is a "panel interview" in front of 6 Conrail upper management. This will be scheduled sometime in early to mid september. I'm curious if anyone here has ever been through one of these panel interviews...and if maybe you can give me some adive on what I'm going to be in for. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
