Western Pacific Caboose 470 Update

Greetings all,
The good news is we managed to hit our target for the purchase of Western Pacific Steel Bay Window Caboose #470.
The bad news is shortly after hitting our target and before the deadline I received an E-mail from the owner of the WP 470. He stated that the deal to sell his home had fallen through and as such he no longer had a need to part with the caboose and took it off the market. To say that is a blow is an understatement. But we respect the owners rights and wish him well in the future.
A special Thank You goes out to the 25 people who stepped up with their wallets and put us at our target. Those 25 have already been contacted and have given me direction regarding their donations. They and the rest of the railfan community will be pleasantly surprised.
Thank You
