Intermodal VS. Trackman

Can anyone tell me which would be the better position to work in? I'm being considered for employment on a class I railroad for one or the other of these two positions, a trackman or an Intermodal Service Worker, I would have to relocate if I took either job.
I would like to know from the working men on the railroad who have worked as a trackman or as a ISW, as far as working conditions, pay, retirement, time home, travel, etc? and if you had a choice which would you perfer?
Thanks in advance.

well choo choo a trackman has more physcal work than intermodal and your hours as a trackman vary where in intermodal you will work in shifts
good luck in your choice
