If you like coal in your face then the chippewa is for you. It's a little railroad that you can drive real steam powered train engines. They will be open every Sunday in October from 1:30 - 5:00 every Sunday. Directions for the chippewa train mini railroad. On the interstate head towards Grand Island until you come to the Goehner exit( ther will be a sign that says goehner exit two miles. Once you get off at that exit turn right. Keep going straight and to your left you'll see a windmill the turn in front of that on the left side is where you turn to and your there.(From Lincoln Nebraska it takes about thirty minutes to get their.) If you need any information you can log on to www.the-chippewa.org. any questions you can e-mail me at trainsorbust@aol.com.
