I would like to hear from any railroaders out there if they have had any experience with this company. I am having a very frustrating experience. I have placed numerous orders in my attempt to create a diorama I am building around the subject of an oil field. I have ordered over 400.00 dollars worth of equipment and have had to cancel much of it because they claim it is no longer available and yet it remains listed on the site. I had to cancel two orders and I got threatened by the mangement and was told all my orders were going to be cancelled! I had to plead with them to reinstate my existing orders and have placed a few more but I have received nothing and my first order was placed May 2nd and it is now May 19th! I am worried now that what I do have ordered will be cancelled too. The site boasts a fine selection but I am finding that much of it is unavailable. Worried![V]

I must reply as I reached a conclusion to my frustrating experience with Wholesale Trains. Since they could not give me any dates for when the shopping list I had ordered totaled over 500 dollars and I waited a month and not a single item was shipped I called them yesterday and cancelled all my pending orders that were just lying doment on their hard drive! I learned from this experience that railroading which I am new to is far different from collecting diecast cars which I have a house full. I never had any trouble purchasing and always knew of the availability. With railroading and myriad of accessories and upgrades I guess it is impossible to keep a full inventory so they must just list all the stuff and then try and get it. That was unacceptable to me so I spent a whole day on the Internet with Google and found what I needed and then called each seller to see if they had in stock what I wanted and that worked! I now have what I need and at a better price on a lot of items. It all worked out and I wi***he best for Whole Sale Trains but I just wont be alive long enough to wait for what I ordered to come! Enjoy! Ricky
