Last Steam Engine in Newfoundland

  • I came across this little gem last week in Cornerbrook, Newfoundland. It's a narrow gauge Pacific built by Baldwin in 1920 for the Newfoundland Railway. I have other pictures of the exhibit in my Railimages folio. Please enjoy

  • Isn`t that the famous `Newfie Bullet` that Wentworth Folkins made a couple of paintings of? nick
  • I hate to disappoint you but there are at least two more Newfoundland Steam locomotives that will always be a part of Newfoundland as they were used as landfill foir the Trans-Canada Highway near Stephenville so they are definitely part of the landscape.
