I'm 50 years old and Model Trains were big when I was a kid but, times has changed and so have the interest in the entire Railroad Industry.
My question is; Does anyone have any figures in the total amount of individuals that are still into the Railroads as a Hobby (in all the forms)?
Is the Railroad Interest dwindling, leveling or increasing as time goes by?
If anyone has any figures or can point me in the direction in which I can find out the total numbers Please e-mail me at: d_lewsader@hotmail.com
Respectfully Yours,
Choo Choo Lew

I hear there's over 2000 railfan's in southern CA. Being 15 I havent really studied the
estimates. Walt Disney himself loved trains (especially steam).
