Just bought a 6-8690 trolley (new boxed 1986) to replace a #60 with stripped helical gear. The 8690 sounds like a meat grinder... The old 60 was not quiet by any stretch, but not like this. I've lubed it, but no difference. I'm wondering if this is just the way this model is?
