I bought 3 Paragon 3 locomotives and all 3 had engine problems and all 3 sent back. All failed after a couple hours or running. I am done with Paragon 3 and done with BLI as these trains are not cheap. I also bought the rolling thunder speaker system which works ok but will throw away now because no BLI train works. There are N scale and it seems they don't know how to design N scale. I bought Kato N scale and they also got problems with their expensive dcc and sound locomotives. I never had any problem with Bachmann and they seem to run forever and quality much better. I even dropped one and wheels fell apart but put it back on and ran like new.
