What is the status of Milwaukee Road 4-8-4 #261? I have heard nothing about it in more than a year,

It is out and about, and is running periodic excursions. The most recent major event was Railway Interchange in October.

It ran a fairly normal schedule of fantrips this year, similar to what it was doing before it sat out a while do to shop work and ownership issues. I saw it several times this month down by St.Paul Union Depot, running the annual "Polar Express" inspired North Pole train.
