What's the story on CN's double track project on the former Wisconsin Central? In Des Plaines, they've added a second main running from just south of DeVal, to Rosemont, which is as far north as WCL double track went. The line returns to double track just north of town (this was already in place)... it seems like they're just creating more problems rather than solving any, as far as I can tell. Anyone have info?
