  • Hello,

I subscribed to MR when I was a kids, and I am close to 50 now and breaking out the trains with my son.  There is advertisement in the back of the MR mag for retailers in the 50 states.  I live in Illinois and would like to know who is listed as a retailer in the Chicago suburbs.  I live near Wheaton.

It appears that Atlas is having problems producing switches, and they will not be available until maybe August.  I purchased the one that was left in one hobby store in Schaumburg, but I don't know of others that may be closer to my house.  I know of one in Elgin, but I don't know the name.  Will someone please tell me the names listed in the MR magazine so that I can see if I can purchase switches locally?  This is holding up my train layout.  Thanks

  •    I'm afraid I can't help you, but I would recommend that you post your request in the MODEL RAILROADER forum where it is more likely to be seen by those who can help.     Welcome to the forums.

I am not sure if the Hobby Shops are still in business, but they were listed recently.
