Saturday,June 2,2012,The Morrisonville Depot Preservation Society had their first fundraiser,a pig roast. Some time in the fall,they plan to do another fundraiser. For anyone not familiar with south central Wisconsin,Morrisonville is 20 miles north of Madison. The former Milwaukee Road ran their trains through Morrisonville down to Madison and beyond.Now,CP Rail owns the trackage rights.  Once the depot is preserved and moved,it will be turned into a museum.
