This is a fictional railroad with fictional destinations but is extremely challenging for those who would be dispatchers. Their 3 quadruple track subdivisions merging into 1 six track subdivision which eventually splits of into a classification yard, intermodal yard, a lead for National Power Generation (coal), Bathford Industrial Ore Docks, Newport Steel lead and its slag dump, a large passenger / commuter station and a military base.
The junction see 1200 trains a day which is about 6 trains every 7 minutes. Majority of manifests and intermodals are 8,000 to 11,000 feet and the switches are long so freights go 60mph and commuters 90mph and passengers 110 mph. This is designed as if it was a North American railroad.
I am still working on it for a friend who is becoming board with dispatching Fostoria and the "funnel" in Florida; so I decided to give him a challenge.
