Photo One appears very bland to me. No exciting sky to speak of and I'm sure it looked more dramatic visually than it did through the eye of the camera. Not enough stark contrast.

Photo Two is a calendar shot. Just wished a higher f-stop was used to get a greater depth of field so the unit numbers and logos were crisper. Maybe there was a lot of heat haze rising of the water ? Nicely framed though. Taking it from the roof of the car may have brought enough elevation to the picture to allow more reflection of the locomotives ?
