Classic Trains Forum Confusion

  •      This is just a suggestion for the Forum Masters--- I don't know where else to post it.

There are frequent posts in Classic Trains that involve model or toy trains.   I think moving that forum down below Model Railroad's forum might reduce the confusion.    The alphabetical order sandwiches it in among the model and toy forums.    Thanks for listening.

  • And while they are doing this, how about changing all of the Kalmbach web sites back to where it AUTOMATICALLY returns you to the forum that you just posted to!
What a bonehead move it was to scrape that feature!

    I vote for this one.

  •    I had been wondering why people were complaining about not being returned to the forum, but I had been using "Quick reply" rather than "Reply."    It might be a little less versatile, but it does take you back to the forum posted.    Still, I don't know why "Reply" shouldn't do the same.

    Paul,
When you use reply, the post you are replying to shows up above the message space and it has a button that you can click in order to  "Quote" that post. As above.

And, so do I. Sometimes I have to keep going back and going back to get to the forum; sometimes I get the "double post" warning (and it is never my desire to so emphasize what I have posted), and sometimes the system outwits the warning and does post twice (three times once).
