See ya!

  • This iteration of the forums has driven me over the edge.  The least the IT guy should have done is list them alphabetically.  There is no logic to this configuration at all in my opinion.  I guess it is time for me to depart.  "Say good night Gracie".

  • "Good night, Gracie."

Incidentally, the only other person I know who uses, "See Ya!" on a regular basis is 1988 Olympic gymnast Brandy Johnson.

    See ya,

That was a good line for sure, but you are now gone and will not read the reply.

  • Is the forum THAT hard to navigate?

    Drama queens.

It's been fun.  But it isn't much fun anymore.   Signing off for now.

The opinions expressed here represent my own and not those of my employer, any other railroad, company, or person.t fun any

  • Changes have not made the forums ideal....but not worth leaving over.  If the railroader members of the forum quit that easily, they never would have survived their probationary period after being hired.

  • If he thinks this is bad, he should see what Yahoo has done to the Yahoo Groups. I belong to eleven different Yahoo Groups. They are turning into a real social network like Facebook.

Social Networking is growing a lot.

The changes here are lame compared to the Yahoo Groups but it would not surprise me to see these forums move in that direction in the near future. Us Geezers have a lot of trouble with Change.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.

  • Then I must be getting younger because once I find the one tiny link that has "Home>Forums" I book mark that and it takes straight to the "Top" of all the 5 or so forums or was it 6. Hit recent posts and you're in business.

    Change is inevitable in life.

I belong to one yahoo group, I cut the rest because the email spam and associated fallout was getting a bit much. I spend a little time on the machine when I can, not to serve or feed the system for hours trying to catch up to the internet.

Or better yet..."Don't let the door hit you in the butt."
