Fixin to leave on a road trip - hope to see lots of RR stuff!

  • Hi!

In early summer I wrote a post talking of a planned trip, and looked for suggestions of RR sites to visit and enjoy.  Well, the trip begins tomorrow morning.........

We go from the Houston area to Fredericksburg (Tx) "for lunch", hook into I-10, and head west to Arizona to I-8, ending up in San Diego for a few days.  From there, we head up to San Capistrano, and then northeast to Williams (AZ) and up to the Grand Canyon.  From there we drive northeast to Chama (NM), and then down to Taos (NM) for a few days.  And then, its back home to Houston.

While I've been to all these places before (took the C&TSR twice), it was either by plane or I had limited time to play tourist.  But as we are driving, I'm looking forward to some quality RR time.

Hope I'll have some interesting stuff to talk about when I return!

    ENJOY  !
