The possible disappearance of the Granby spur. It is an information not verified, but it was found that demolition work will be underway on the Canadian National's Granby spur in the area of highway 30 in St-Hubert located on the south shore of the St.Lawrence River in the city of Longueuil a surburban town of Montreal.
This spur begins at the CN's Rouses Point sub and takes end at Marieville which this rail link was supposed to be purchased by the (AMT) Metropolitan Transport Agency to serve commuters from the towns of Marieville,Chambly to Central Station in downtown Montreal.
And that surprised me enormously that this rail link is not profitable for surburban trains moving over this railroad track.

Here's a little update. The proper address is www.groschars.com . Also, the rails are now gone, but they still work to take out the ties. The last thing remaining (except the roadbed) are the grade crossings (rails, crossbucks...)
