Inventory Program for Vista

  • Does anyone know of a Train Inventory Program that will work on Vista?  I wanted to use TrainTracker, but they advised it only goes up to XP.

  • Huh. I would think stuff that works on XP would work on Vista, but you never know. I'd reccomend posting this question on the General Discussion forums, this one here doesn't get many people visiting it.

    Good Luck!

  • I use RR trains 2000, with no problem on vista just do a google search pretty easy learning curve to it too.
  •   I have been looking for the same thing and emailed Tayden Design about their Gallery Works and All Aboard programs. A reply back from them said they both were compatible with Vista.  I haven't tried either one yet but they told me you can download a demo from their website ,  tayden.com

  • vista is compatable with XP programs
it will work just fine. I have a vista computer and all my XP programs work great
  • I use Microsoft Excel.I made my own inventory list, that shows car initials, car number, type of car, load it carries, industry(s) served,if it is a private road (  ie-Quaker Oats),and whom the car is from...ie-Wathers,Athearn,etc.If anyone is interested in a sample copy of what my list looks like..let me know.
