CN Fatality

  • At 6p.m.,CDT, in Fond Du Lac,Wi,there has been a fatality involving a trespasser.Details are very unknown at present time.Advising ALL railfans in,or coming to FDL to photograph trains,to please do NOT come here,as security is very tight right now, and the CN and FDL police are not tolerating any kind of B.S. Furthermore, the CN and the FDL police are checking ALL trains coming and going from the FDL yard. All trains are being halted and not moving till the incident is cleared.Thank you.

  • UPDATE.....As of 11A.M. CDT,reports are,a man was killed by a local CN freight,at the Scott St. crossing, which is the entrance to the South part of FDL Shops yard.Details of the who, what, and why..is still unknown.Last night at 8:30 P.M. there was very little train activity.A CN freight heading North was entering the South entrance to SHOPS yard, and immediately turned off ALL the headlights on the lead locomotive, furthermore, police were taking their flashlights and shining them on the spaces between the cars on the train,as well as underneath them.On Subway road (North FDL YARD) all trains were being inspected as "run-by's ". The dispatcher, stated on the scanner, that  engineers were to " ring the bell freely "as they passed the incident, which happened on one of the 2 new mainlines that bypass the industrial classifying yard,in the marsh area. As of today (MONDAY) there is very little train activity.Usually by 11 A.M. there would be over a dozen trains coming and going from FDL.There have only been 4 that I have heard and seen..........so far.
