Going South on US 421 just North of La Crosse, IN. I spotted this sign.

Anyone have Information about it. 

The sign reads,

"Historic R/R Corridor   FHWA 2004   Award".

According to this website,

"Federal Highway Administration funds helped to preserve this railroad corridor via the Indiana Dept of Transportation in the year 2004."

You will have to scroll about 90% of the way down.
