Argh! Christmas Help Needed

  • I'm hoping that some kind folk out there can help me with my dilemma - what do you get a man that has everything? He's really mad keen on all aspects railroading (not steam), model railroading (h0), railroading photography...you get the picture? But he seems to have to everything already - he even owns his own full-size locomotives! I want to show him my support for his hobby / pre-occupation & I've got a few stocking fillers but have mainly drawn a big blank. A BNSF (or MK5000 series) cab rides or driver experience would be the icing on his Christmas cake, if such things are possible. Help!

  • A cab ride on a Class One railroad next to unheard of unless you are intimate with folks in very, very high places.Their are some presurvation organizations that offer cab rides, and very few with hands on programs.I can e-mail you some info if it will help.
  • I just got a birthday card. No it's not Hallmark, but it has a train on it. The note says "Saved this card special all year just for you." Now that's what is special, when somebody (this was my pastor) goes out of their way to acknowledge your interest(s). Doesn't have to be expensive or large, just something trains! Sharing
"I care" keeps Christ in Christmas. Happy sharing. FDM

  • Why don't you just go out and ask him what he'd like for Christmas? He could make a wish list.
