I desperately want to purchase a loco on eBay but the seller will only post to a US address - not much use for a West Australian. Is there anyone (living in the US) who is willing to help me by receiving the loco, readdressing it and posting it to me? I will meet all your expenses.

Sorry to many Good Samaritans (wanting or doing) got cheated by scams similar to this.
Money or goods never get to the proper places.

No, but HE might be trying to cheat YOU!
These scams work by him sending you a bogus check or money order that doesn't bounce until after you've paid both the seller and for shipping. Some international money orders can take weeks to bounce!
He may be fine, but somebody with 2 posts and calling himself "Santa" makes me REAL suspicious. It's great if you want to help . . . just be sure you don't lay out any money until you're absolutely sure you cannot end up taking a bath!
