Im back at trying the model scene again

  • I have done a layout for several years now, and it always get left untouched for months.  I just moved to PA (near Pittsburgh) and we have a full basement and I am going to do it again.  I am going to start on a 4x8 layout. Not sure on the year or anything yet.  Was going to do like a civil war era, but just not sure.  I am a big Norfolk Southern fan.  Use to watch them all the time in NC. Probably what I will go with this time around again.  I was on this website about a year ago, and got some great ideas and tips.  I hope you all can help me again when I have some questions.  Big Smile [:D]

  • Sign - Welcome [#welcome] I can't speak for all of us, but I am sure we would all be willing to help you with any questions you have. You might want to check out the model railroading forums since that is what your going to be into. There is a lot of great help over there as well.

    I absolutely agree with Railfan1.  Copy your initial post from this thread and paste it into the site for "Model Railroader."  There's lots more traffic on that site and its audience consists mainly of the kind of people who have (or are gaining) the experience and expertise you've begun working on.
