    hey again everybody!

    Happy day late easter!

well i've made my way around the forum, and i'm starting to get the hang of it. people have really helped me on the questions thread i opened.

well the first post i made on here, i really didn't know what i was suppost to be posting about myself for an introduction, and i'm bored with nothing to do, so i'll introduce myself again lol.

I'm in 8th grade and live in northern Ohio. I love photography [mainly of animals (as you can see from my avatar pic thing) and nature]. I really want to get into railfanning. I'm in 4-H with my dog (the one in the pic) Well i still really don't have anything else to say about me. But thanks for the support everyone!

Yeah, thats a black lab. her names Truant (trudy for short). we've got 4 labs total. 2 newfoundlands... and... a sheltie named molly! lol

And jake, i would quote you too, but i can't figure out how to put a second quote on this lol. well anyways... it looks like we've got a lot in common. I like to photograph my dogs the most and sometimes my other pets. Trudy is definetly my best subject for photography lol. What did you take in 4-H?

He does not hate you. if he hated you, believe me, you'd know, you'd be bleeding with his teeth in your arm lol. archie, the one you've never met, is the one you have to be careful about. and offtopic for this, but ontopic for the thread... whens the next time you're going railfanning Mike? cause if whoever takes you  don't mind, and you want me to, i'd like to come, cause noone in my family is into it... so yeah, they wouldn't take me.

  • Well I went railfanning today, Bellevue, Ohio. Home of NS's Hump Yard, and Ohio's largest railroad museum. And I saw my first Spartan Cabs (man I love them) not one but two! Click on pictures to see full size...

These two are my favorite, no just cause spartan but because of angle...

Ok here are the rest, that are just so, so...

Tell me what ya think! Mike

  • Those are really good. My favorites are...

    1. the fifth one (i just don't like the shadow too much on this one,but the rest of the pic is really good, i really like the angle)

    2. the last one (i really like this one, but for some reason i don't like the lighting or something on that one, but other than that, i LOVE this pic. it'd probably be my favorite if it wasn't for the lighting or whatever it is)

    3. the second one (i like the angle)

  • Hello everyone.

Good to see Lauren is still with us. She's starting to get the hang of it around the forums.

I know it's late but things have been hectic around the homestead. But I thought I would join in with some pictures I took a while back. I may go fanning over the next couple of days or so. See how the weather holds up.

These pictures where from a while ago and the days where a bit dark. But they were pretty cool.

BNSF coal train at Saunders. located at Superior, Wisconsin.

CP 3 SD40-2 throttled out race through Saunders in Superior, Wisconsin.

GP15-1 sits at the Belknap engine facility in Superior, Wisconsin.

This one is probably the best out of the dark photos. A UP train passes a BNSF train at Saunders.

These next two are for people who haven't seen them before.

Newly delivered BNSF ES44AC leads two SD60s and a coal train out of superior, Wisconsin at Mile post 15.9.

    Enjoy
