Picked up a KATO SD90/43MAC yesterday for $75.00 in Union Pacific.

It was a good buy. %50 off the original price. It was a good deal. I got a look at it and it is a huge locomotive. What a monster. I need to look at it again. It's a wow.

  • Well your spelling suffers frm your anxiety that someone may be criticizing your age.

" I am too, what is wrong with that?" would be correct.

  • Snow down in this end of Wisconsin too, and weather into the 20s and 30s for lows with only the 30s for highs. Waaaaay too cold for April. Of course, I was in New Orleans for spring break from Last Saturday 'till yesterday, so it wasn't too bad down there....

  • I'm BACK! It was pretty cool I saw my first all CSX train in my entire life (I don't leave complete NS teritory to often), and i saw my first amtrak trains, and the Acela. I saw the whitehouse, all the memorials, and had a nice 12 hour trip in a bus that was so uncomfertable we couldn't sleep. As for being a 8th grader, yes I am, just I can spell unlike some people lol, jk.

  • hey everybody! i'm new to this site and everything to do with trains in general. my boyfriend, mike, got me started in this stuff, and i actually got interested in it. in truth, i know nothing about it, but i do kinda like it. I just had to ask him what half the things where he was refering to in his last post on this site when he was talking about what he was in DC so as you can see, i really know absolutely nothing. i've got a question thread opened up under general discussion: model railroader. i really don't know why i'm posting this, but mike told me to introduce myself on this thread, so i am. lol. um... nothing really interesting about me, i read a lot, like working with dogs, and have a b/f that likes trains. that basically sums up my life lol. well if any of you want to help me, you could post on my questions thread, i would really appreciate it. thanks!

  • hey again everybody!

    Happy day late easter!

well i've made my way around the forum, and i'm starting to get the hang of it. people have really helped me on the questions thread i opened.

well the first post i made on here, i really didn't know what i was suppost to be posting about myself for an introduction, and i'm bored with nothing to do, so i'll introduce myself again lol.

I'm in 8th grade and live in northern Ohio. I love photography [mainly of animals (as you can see from my avatar pic thing) and nature]. I really want to get into railfanning. I'm in 4-H with my dog (the one in the pic) Well i still really don't have anything else to say about me. But thanks for the support everyone!
