  • well guys ive got a delama im gonna get 200.00 bucks for my birthday and im allready reserving stuff. i was thinking of buying a bachman usra light 2-6-6-2 for 175.00 or getting two of the mantua clasics 2-6-6-2 "logger" for 100.00 so in your guys opinion what should i pick?

    so i never got a responce on the 2-6-6-2 question, im thinking of getting two mantua clasics "2-6-6-2 artucluated loggers", or a bachman spectrum usra light 2-6-6-2 with sound and dcc. what in your opinion would you guys get?

     ive never seen one of them run so i dont really know what one to get.

    Okay, I will help you out. I have seen some Spectrum steamers run and they run very well. A friend of mine has a DM&IR 2-10-2 steamer from spectrum and the thing has great detail and runs quite nicely. I have also heard that the sound is pretty good on them too.

    I, on the other hand, have not heard much about mantua. So I really can't say much. But if I were you I would go with the spectrum spound. It "sounds" good.Thumbs Up [tup]
