Have 47 year old HO elaborate train set, to sell

  • Can anyone advise me on how to go about pricing a 47 year old train set with lots of accessories and track spread across two large tables in a basement? The train hasn't been run in 6 years and I feel someone who knew what they were doing could get it up and running.

  • Look on EBAY for pricing on each HO item.
Complete old HO layouts are very hard to sell or move.
Old not working setups are little more than scrap metal and firewood.
Rust and dirt in basements are not helping either.
Most people sell off what they can and scrap the rest.
O gauge seems to hold value much better than HO.
