  • Since I'm of Scots and Irish descent,I am slightly curious about the railroads of the British Isles.

    So go ahead and put me in your list of interested people.

  • I have quite a bit of it for sale such as;

    Lima Class 201 current Diesel Loco # 207 Enterprise - 119 euros (about USD$150)

    Lima Pack of 3 Mk.II's in Orange Iarnroid Eireann Livery - 180 Euros per set of 3 (about USD$220)

    Lima Pack of 2 Executive Coaches in Maroon Livery - 80 Euros per pair (about USD$100)

    Since Lima are gone out of business, the Lima Irish railways stuff have been soaring in value.

    Bachmann Mk.II' in Iarnriod Eireann and Irish Rail Liveries (almost the same ornage Livery) Packed in pairs @ 75 euros per pair( about USD$95) per pair

    Hope this helps

  • Hi. Beginning to get into Irish Railways, but probably a bit too late. Just like the UK, variety of loco's is dwindling fast. Interesting that Irish Railways are also dominated by GM loco's just like the UK. Not sure if the Freight network in Ireland will be sustainable for much longer, Sugar beet, oil etc mostly on the roads now. Container traffic still ticking over.
