In the book by Gary & Stephen Dolzall,
Baldwin Diesel Locomotives
, they mention that the E&LS sharks, nos 1205 & 1216 (Ex Delaware & Hudsons) were put into storage in late 1982. I have tried to find out whatever happened to the last of the Baldwin Sharknoses, but have found nothing. Does anyone out there know whatever became of these sharks?

They are both stored unserviceable indoors at Escanaba. Railfans are not welcome after some builders plates, ect , were stolen from different Baldwins. One has a scored crankshaft. Apparently both can be repaired if the owner wants to. They are not owned by the E&LS.
