Mine is the Dash 8-40CW, which I notice seems to be dissapearing rather quickly out of the HO lineup.

Specifically I don't have a "favorite". If it's a locomotive, I love it. Plain and simple.

I think my favorite locomotives, recently, has been the Alcos, both diesel and steam. I picked the Dash 9 in the survey, but noticed all the choices are for freight only and don't include any electric locomotives. From using Train Simulator I've come to like the Acelas.

I chose EMD's SD70's series. I've been surprised that EMD has not tried to further is SD75 series. The increased horsepower made them comparable to the GE's. A few railroads have purchased them, but it seems the straight 70's are the fav. Must be a story there. Who knows, maybe we'll someday see an SD75MAC rollin' down the rails.
