I AM HEADING SOUTH SOON. WOULD ANYONE TELL ME WHAT THE CONDITIONS ARE CONCERNING RAILFANNING FROM HOUSTON, TX TO JACKSONVILLE, FL? WHAT SHAPE (OR SHOULD I SAY "HOW BAD") IS CSX IN?
i SHALL APPRECIATE ANY INFO. THANKS!

Hey You're in luck...Im a railfan also and it happens to be that my father lives in Jacksonville!! The conditions from what I've seen are great!!! 3 Main places to catch CSX, FEC, and NS in action would have to be 1. St.Johns river drawbridge,here you will see all 3 RR cross this bridge in downtown!2. JAX Amtrak Station You can catch The Silver Service and Auto Train along with A LOT of CSX action!!!! 3. Bowen Yard I can't really explain a lot about it but I would really cheak out 1&2! If you do this please tell me the site which you post these pics! Thanks!!!
