  • Well, first off, there are signals regulating the movement. But if you mena close to each other, then it would be radio blocking.

  • IF I understand this question, yes, a train can "creep up" on another train in a block, but they can only do so at a speed that will permit them to stop in time to avoid a rear end collision with the train ahead of them. CSX, NS and UP have had to do this a lot in recent times. I recall having seen the Conemaugh line (PRR) from Kiski Junction, all the way back to South Fork filled with trains that had to be parked until room opened up for them. NS cleaned up their act, but, CSX and UP ? You two have a lot to do, yet. In NORAC territory a form D, or C-1 will be issued for the protection of both trains by the dispatcher.
  • am talking about model trains not real trains
  • You need to learn about DCC that allows you to control up to 9999 trains on the same track independently of each other.
  • I run DCS all the time can contol several trains at one time on one track but you have to be quick or major wreck time . The most I can manage is 2 at one time.......G scale
    50 car trains
  • Max if there are signals they dont use radio blocking.
