hello everyone

  • thankyou for accepting us. We are very new to trains and are in need of advice.
We are a Canadian couple who stumbled across a lovely old metal train and track, that works. We don't know how to clean it up and could use some expert advice first. This is also the first time we've joined a forum , since we are also rather new to the cumputer. So please forgive us if we blunder. I don't know how this is suposed to work, so I'm just stickin my foot in the door.

The other forums usually have more information than here, you might want to take a look at the model Railroader forum. What size is your track? I'm also a Canadian, also a railfan, and quite probably also quite cold. WHereabouts are you? I live in Calgary, where it is -40 with wind chill!

  • Well Kelly, your best bet is a godd hobby shop (if there is one in your area). Or Model Railroader Magizine is an excellent resource. (Try their forum) Also try classic toy trains.
Question: In the history of the human race what single thing is responsible for more destruction and death than any other? Answer: Organized religion.
  • thank for the advice. It's -30 in Midale Sask. too. There
