Here are some pictures that I have doctored up, of a SD89MAC and a CN SD70M-2. I got the idea from this air plane picture site that fixes up pictures of air planes and they almost look real. I just thought this would be cool .I used the simple "paint" program in windows. I wonder if there is anybody out there who could do any "Doctored up" pictures. Lets see what you got, I hope some body could do better than I did. I would would like to try to do this then the best place to go is Rail Pictures. net, where you can make a more specific search for a locomotive.




I'd like to thank Matt Lastovich for the SD89MAC, and Jay Brooks for the CN SD70M-2, for using their pictures for this, but they are way better photographers than I am.

FRIST OF ALL THAT FOR SD70'S HAS ALL READY BEEN DONE............IN REAL LIFE.
Three rail roads have orderd them with standerd cabs Norfolk Southern, Conrail and Illinois Central.... they were not doubed SD70m's, SD70I or sd70 mac, the model was simply repered to as the sd70. AS far as I knoe 120 of thease units were built.

to: nssr9169 :Yes, I'm am fully aware of the standard cab SD70s. However these are SD70M-2 and SD89MACs ,they look slightly diffrent than the ealrier SD70 family, so...In real life they really do take on a differnt look then that of the standard cabbed unit SD70s. I've heard many people say that the new cabs on the SD90MAC-H II units up to the SD70M-2 units were ugly. I think the units almost have the standard cab nose if you take away those "wings" that extend to each side. Anyways the pictures were just for fun, thank you.
