  • Max, James, & Kale- you guys have to give me the grande tour this August when i come up to Duluth as a vacation celebrating my graduation from high school. i should be up there from August 2 to August 4. i will surely hit up the museum one of those days. i must see the ex WC 700 GP30 and any sweet DMIR stuff you have on display. not to mention the simulator Max was telling me about on AIM. my camera's gonna need a second set of batteries after i use it for double duty (railfanning and boatnerding. yay thousand footers!) that's in, like, a month though. but i'm excited. Duluth is an awesome city. the main highway there was once a railroad, wasnt it? cant wait!

and Alec, try hard to come up there too. i need someone to kick me when i say something stupid...

  • Rick- I have not seen any of the 25th aniversary engines since July 2004.

  • Rich, yes I'm in iowa. I usually keep that quiet. Actually, my most favorite road is IANR folllowed by CGW. I'm most likely modeling IANR since (1) their roster is almost entirely GP38-2s, (2) I like modern frieght cars, such as 55' covered hoppers, and (3) I can still railfan IANR (unlike CGW, which has been gone since 1968)

    Ok, 5 more pics

(hopefully I didn't already post any of these)
  • Trouble with alexander is that he doesn't accept that it's his fault he got banned..always says it's mine, he's even said it's the faul of someone on my forum flaming him. This is why he won't go away, no matter how much everyone wants him to.
The second day of railway days was just as fun as the first - Except I got some crazier angle shots. From trees and ditches...pics should be back in a week or two, with a little luck to fini***he roll. I'll do a photo essay on my forum then, those were a good 16 or so hours.

  • Kale: Well, you missed someone crashing the trolley and demolishing the front end. It pushed the William Crooks a few feet and bent the chain rod. T.S, D.M, James and I estimated he must have been going 30 mph at the time. Odd thing is, he stoped at the door, so 0-30 in a few yards...0_0

Alstom: I highly doubt CSX runs 70-75.

Max: I'll slap ya dont worry.

  • Max slapping Max. how funny. man you really should try to get your AIM working again.

was in Altoona a little while ago. and boy did i see stuff. the trailer train didnt come through on account of a freight still being there. 3 awesome SD40-2s pulling it. the engineer even took a picture of me with his camera phone. i hope he doesnt use the image to report me. i was on public property

  • I like that idea Matt. If no one replies to anything he says, maybe we can get Alexander to finally go away. They usually say people like that are looking for attention, so if we ignore him......

Chris, you still haven't told us what your dad's suprise was? Or was it just that he was taking you railfanning?

    Noah
  • why are we still talking about Alexander if the plan is to ignore him...?

  • Lol, Medlin, actually, im the one that has to hit him. Some bad news for the other max, Im prolly going up to Duluth sooner than Aug. I'll tell you when Im coming CobornTreeFive.

Well, i'll catch the transfer a little bit later, no idea as what power it has, but I cant wait to find out.

Alexander, if you read this, go pout somewhere else, and grow the hell up.
