I apologise for Alexander. He's got a callous attitude and would hate to be proven wrong, even though he says the same thing in response to all our sentimentality.

Oh, for Bob's sake. If you're not going to argue, at least stop saying the same thing over and over again about how anything is their right, and it's just business?

Yeah, myabe there is a bit of history, but what can you do?

You're basically saying that nothing can stand in the way of business - Not small amounts of history, at least. It's also the "So what" that makes it sound like you support it. You're saying it's nothing. It's no matter. It's just a little bit of history gone, and it's no big deal, and inherant in that is the suggestion that it's the right thing to do.
