    Well, fellow teen railfans.

I, Chris, am back. Since I wanted to do well in school and focus on my work, I delted my account here as a form of self control. But now that school is almost out, I am back, with a better username [:D]

It nice to be back...I have taken some more photos and cant wait to get back into the discussion!!!!

I thought when i saw "F45" that you would be back. I know that you like F45's.........

Well how are thing over there in USA/ Canada?

It is a sunday morning here down under as i write it, on the 4th day of winter, but it isnt too cold.
Richard (Alstom) has on his forum labled my forums a "Competitor"

QUOTE: [i] Alstom said[i]Well, another announcement in the same 24 hours! Pretty interesting as our forums are taking a turn towrds the better!

This announcement is to let everyone here know that there has been a jurastic change in our forums here. If you haven't noticed already, our forums here have become "Rails of the USA" and do not continue to carry on the name "Rails of the East."

This action is due to the rivalry and compotition we have against three other 'proboards' forums. http://rrredneck.proboards99.com/index.cgi http://hickssforum.proboards99.com/index.cgi and http://railroadforum.proboards76.com/index.cgi .

These three other forums are currently in the process of forcing ours out of business! We cannot allow such actions to be with-held. This is the second forum I (Richard Thompson) have owned and is taking a turn for the worse.

So please help me try to encourage this forum and let it keep on growing!

    Rich

    Did that work?

Yeah, well richards forum does need members, i suppose i could ask y'all to join

  • Alexander - It's not like a big business "proxie" (spelling*) war! I just wanted more members and tried my best to say it in a professional way. I, by no means, am in a competition with you.

Oskar - I thought that all of the 2000s were Geeps of some sort. This is interesting! My Kerr roster does not show this number range as being SD50-2s, it shows them as being retired!

And it says that the number range right below it are the SD38s. And it also shows some SD40-2s in the 2000 number range! Very strange, very strange indeed! LOL

Chris - Welcome back! I was hoping you would be back in town again some day and I know that the same goes for Eric (RR Redneck). And please, don't be stupid a second time and delete your account! It is too valuable - or something and you can't just throw it away!

Besides - you had over 1,000 posts - what's wrong with you! LOL, glad to have you back, bud!

Yeah we moved. php was to crappy.
  • I also got a forum, and i also got a photo contest you can join
  • Rick- try this site www.thedieselshop.us it is where I get my stuff from and you might want to get a new roster book that one has too many errors. You can also send in corrections and etc. on there like I did under UP and TFM/Ferromex.

Speaking of TFM heck, guess what I saw...... a TFM SD70MAC I heard it past the house today and was wondering to chase it since it had a SP/UP sounding horn but said ''naw its probaly a SD70M no need'' heck I thought it was a North bound train.I later went railfanning near 8 PM due to AC problems in the house that needed to be fixed. Since we were on I-520 here in Augusta I had to pass up on NS's Nixon Yard to go back to CSX and see the TFM heck, I didn't really care if Sou 4610 or NS/Mearask Sealand 3329 was there I would rather see a TFM SD70MAC. Who knows I could have gone to the Braves game today aganst the D-Backs (9:50 ARZ 10 ATL 9 7th 2 Out ATL was down 8 at Top 7) and would never see it.

    Here's the complete train
    Q693(Erwin,TN-Waycross,GA)
    TFM 1626
    HLCX 8144(BN colors)
    CSX 7867
    CSX 5270

Hey all 4 in different paint jobs!

  • Oskar - I know about that website. It is pretty professional and I look at it from time to time.

Nice sightings on the TFM's. I've seen one.

not to mention Duluth, MN is quite the distance from Austrailia, isnt it? the ocean isnt the only problem[:p]

i'll be using that simulator when i come back to Duluth in August. though i probably wont get very far in it. my best skill in microsoft train simulator is seeig how far i can send the accela locomotive over a cliff...

    Your friendly neighborhood CNW fan.

  • Ahh about 20 mile to the ocean, then across the ocean and if i land at the right spot a trek across Washington state, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, before reachng Minnesota.

Anything special about these states that i should know (bearing in mind that it may be winter before i even get there?)

Well i got forums to check, i may be back later
