TEEN RAILFAN PLACE-LET'S TALK TRAINS! Thread Locked

  • Yep, IMRL was taken over by the ICE a number of years back now. The IMRL had their own power lettered for the IMRL, so I'm pretty sure they are seperate from the MRL for the most part. I may be wrong on that one though, so don't quote me.....

The guy I went railfanning with had only railfanned the line once before, and that was back when it was IMRL. So for him it was kind of neat to see the ICE running on the line now. The line can really get hopping considering who the owner is, as we heard at least 5 trains into and out of Marquette through out the day headed in different directions.

Should have gone railfanning today instead. It was a mostly sunny day around here, although it was awefully hot. I'd have prefered it about ten degrees cooler, but the heat is a small price to pay for the sunlight.

  • Well they woulda lettered it IMRL, not let it say MRL.
