  • green over red is a straight clear
ok here is the thing to remember.. if there is a red over another color it is a diverging signal.... except a lunar or a flashing red.. that would be a straight restricting.
  • Oskar- Neat engine line ups. The 7512 has since been retired *sobbs*

Today we went to raifan the BNSF.
Cool stuff that i saw was...

A GEVO in H2 (not as cool as swoosh)
    A pair of Warbonnet SD40-2's
3 BNSF (ex BN) Executive scheme SD70Macs on a coal train!

    Check my rrpicturearchives fridley album.

Shot the WC too, but was boring, 2 CN SD70I's.

  • Alec,

I like the shots. I see you actually had some sun up there. I went railfanning down between Dubuque, Iowa and Prarie Du Chein, Wisconsin all day, and it was cloudy until right about the time we had to head home. But, I did catch a lot of Iowa, Chicago, and Eastern action, and we ended up with a three way meet between trains just a little ways South of Marquette, Iowa, which was pretty cool. I should have shots up tomorrow sometime, or for sure Monday.

We almost headed up to La Crosse, but elected to get to Dubuqe instead because the weather was supposed to be better down there. Ended up being pretty bad though, and wasn't very good weather wise. The train traffic was neat though.

  • Thanks Noah! Ya, it was sunny, but a little too hot for me. Ive been to Dubuque long ago, but remember seeing the IMRL, 2 BN/BNSF SD70Macs sitting for a coal train im guessing. Sounds like you had fun though! Well, gotta go mow the grass.......
