Hey guys,
James, I'll second Chris, post some shots of the SD10. I always have liked the Milwaukee road, and especially some of their odd engines, like the SD39L or SDL39, I forget the proper designation.
Not much new from me, I've got a good deal of work to do today between the module and some homework. So I'm going to head out, although I may be back later tonight.

Well, my calculations were wrong, we have
2 FEET
of snow now. It is now freezing out there. It will not stop until about 2-3pm in the afternoon. So far, no plow sightings, so that is good.

Well, I see some people like the new proto 2000 series so..... That is giving me the green light to go and buy the Milwaukee GP38-2's from proto.
I do have the pictures of the SD10, so enjoy.
I know that the front number boards are not in place. I am working that part.
The decals went on about two days ago and they are looking great. The loco number is 561. The pictures are not the best in the world but ya. The lathe got in the way but oh well.[:D]
How does it look.

Hi Everyone!
I haven't been here since I was railfanning with my friend yesterday and caught 45 trains in only 9 hours. 40 at Berea and 5 at Bedford, OH. We call Bedford the Tot-Lot since there is a playground area there. Nice lighting at night.
Oskar- The sixth train at Berea had a startling surprise! NS 3329, the Maersk Sealand SD40-2. Second unit on a stack train. Also at Berea was all three fazes (spelling*) of the ES units. (ES44DC, AC and ES40DC)
An NS C39-8 showed up behind CSX 7815. A 'dedicated' UP SD60M, number 2324, had the plaque on the side of the nose behind a NS GP40-2. My cursed battery ran out right when a meet happened right beside me. I had a nice idea of how I was going to film it and boom, my screen goes black. RRRR!!
By the way, the ES44AC was BNSF 7610, my fourth BNSF HIII.
And Oskar, one more thing, CSX 5107 is the "W. Thomas Rice Special." The "Spirit of Grafton" is CSX 500. Even though I know you posted this a page ago.
Nice loco James!
Man it seems like we started this topic days ago. Well, I guess it has almost been two months on the 16th.
...............
P.S.)- Check my unicapital page in my sig and go to "newest photos" to see
some
of the trains I saw yesterday at Berea.
P.S.S.)- As odd as it was, Wheeling & Lake Erie 100 was leading a coke train through Berea yesterday and the trailing Wheeling & Lake Erie unit was number 200. Funny!

James, The SD10 is looking good. You did a nice paint job on it.
Not much new from me, just been workinng on the module. I've been soldering connections to the turntable lately, and I'm getting near to having that done. I need to pick up some glue at the LHS tomorrow and I should be able to finni***hat job, other than weathering.
I'm going to head out, I've got a English poster due tuesday that I want to get a start on tonight, and the MALPM will be here sometime tonight too, so I've got to be ready for that.
Hasta Luego,
Noah

ahhhh 5107 is the W. Thomas Rice engine I saw that in Folkston in 2003 and wasn't sure what spirt it was then see it now and all I can think was Spirt of Grafton forgot about the spirt of W. Thomas Rice..... wait a minute they must have named Rice Yard in Waycross after him.
One of UP's C40-8W's also has the dedicated plaque too bad it was moving I wanted a pic and to read it.

Well, got lucky today. Went on the school website yesterday before I went to sleep, and here i what it said:
"School will be
CANCELLED on Monday, Feb 13, all classes are cancelled."
My sister has a 2 hour delay.
I want you to take this test, to see if you are a Yankee or a Rebel.
I took it already, and happen to be 75% Yankee, and only 25% Southern.

Hi Gents,
poor weather in 'burgh this weekend (surprise) forced me to stay in but I scanned in more of my Utah trip and put them on rp.net. For some reason, the quailty of the ones on-line are pretty low, so I only submitted about half my shots while I try to slove this problem. I tell you guys when I get the rest on.
Here's what I got so far, I'll be replacing them with better shots in a couple days but for now I have to attend to a couple college strenght papers.

40% Dixie. I am definently a Yankee. Thats what it said.
Anyway. life is going slowly for me as I am in school. But something good has happened. Here in Duluth at the Northshore seneic railroad, I am taking there GCOR test. I have already started studying the CN gcor book and the DMIR operating rules book.
So life is good when it comes to running trains, and playing with model rr too.
