  • Hey Guys [:)]

    Long Time No See [;)]

    So How Is Everyone?

I am not even going to try and go back through all of the pages I have missed since my last time here. [B)]

I just stopped by to make someone, anyone an offer.

I am cleaning house and getting rid of computer games that I can not play any longer. I have Windows 2000 and most of these run on 95 or 98 or ME. [:(]

Sooooo if anyone can use them you can have them, just drop me an email off list and we can set up a way to get them to you.

    What I have:

NASCAR Racing 1999 Edition (Never even opened the box, so basically brand new). It runs on Windows 95.

Jane's WWII FIGHTERS, runs on 95 or 98 (might work with Me but not sure).

    iM1A2 ABRAMS, runs on 95 / 98

    iPANZER '44 , runs on 95 / 98

iF/A-18E CARRIER STRIKE FIGHTER , disk does not say what OS but I would guess 98

Trivial Pursuit MILLENNIUM EDITION , runs on 95 / 98

The PeaceKeeper Series Opereation CLOUDY SKIES, runs on 95 / 98

Operation JUST BECAUSE , runs on Windows (does not say which version, my guess is 95)

iRewards Bonus Pack (ecBuilder Pro1.5; Eudora 5.0; Inoculate IT ; Star Office, runs on 95 / 98 or ME

There may be someone who reads this still running one of those OS and is so you are welcome to these games. A few of them are boxed while others just come in a sleeve. If you can use them, they are yours.

Perhaps someone with 2000 might get them to work, but my comp is on its last days. [:(] So if you guys can find a way to use them have at them. [:)]

I do have one that is train related but it was so STUPID I was not going to list it. However, if you have a 6 or 7 year old younger brother, it might be fun for him.

TRAINTOWN The Virtual Lionel Train Game, runs on 95 / 98 I would not recomment it for anyone over 11 or 12. [;)] It will insult your intelligence. [:p]

Like I said, if you can run them, you can have them. All of them or just a single game, I am getting rid of them one way or the other. [8D]

    THANKS

  • Well, I am going to read a few of the magazines I just got, and then head off to sleep. Gooooood Night everyone.

  • Hey Guys. Well, the WC usually conflicts with school right? So i never get to see it week days unless she gets held up pretty bad. Well, most of the time they get here at 2 AM, and get done around 10-12. I guess they were coming by my house at 5 PM! And i missed it, so not too happy about that. Ive seen all of the engines on the train before anyway, but still. About to go to school. Ill be back around 5 30 tonight hopefully. Have a good day everyone.

  • Hey guys,

I wandered in here yesterday and noticed that no one had posted anything new. It kinda suprised me actually. Is the homework getting to everone, or did Chris just scare us all off? [;)] Just kidding Chris.....

Not much new from me, I'm just working my way though the day. I woke up early this morning to study for a English and a Spani***est, so I am worn out. I have a feeling I'm going to hit the hay early tonight.

However, for now I have some studying and a little bit of homework to do, and then I am going to work on assembling the turntable for my module! I'm getting closer and closer everyday, although I still have a good deal of work to go. And I only have 8 days to go!

To post pics. First you have to sign up with a host site. I don't know a whole lot about other sites, but I use railroadpicturesarchive.net. After you register, which might take a day, then you can upload pictures. You have to enter some info on the album. Then you can up load by browsing to where your photos are located on your computer and selecting them one at a time. For a 500Kb photo it takes 5-10 seconds each.

Once you have your pictures uploaded you then select that picture on that site, whatever site you end up useing. Then right click on the photo and select properties. On the properties menu copy the URL. Then go to the trains site and start a post. Where you want the picture you paste the URL. And lastly you add the image tags around the URL like this:

    [ img]URL[ /img]

but without the spaces after the [
  • Okay, some pictures to show you exactly how it's done. For example, you need to insert the img tags on either end, so it looks kind of like (click to enlarge)
That is a picture posted on photobucket, and the address that I put the img tags on was http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b274/trainboysd40/howtopostphotos.jpg so it would eventually look like
    That help?

Anyways, I haven't been posting becuase I have had nothing to say. Oh well. Now I do. I got a roll of film back a couple days ago, and unfortunately the pictures I took of KCS SD70ACe 4001 in primer, the photos were of a long shutter speed, overexposed, and the train was blurred. Luckily there was one extremely awesome picture which I plan to try on railpictures when I get a print of it. I also took a bunch of MRR pictures on that roll, but forgot to lengthen the exposure 2 seconds to account for the filter, so they were all underexposed..
